Essential amenities were on the doorstep but there were a number of houses and business premises ‘for sale’ indicative of a declining community. "stayed here twice when coming into france and the leaving to help break our journey up. Hotel is lovely and spotless. Staff are friendly, welcoming and speak good english . Everything looks new and upto date within the hotel and for the price is excellent. We got a nice peaceful sleep both occasions and opted to have the brekfast which had plenty to choose from and was all fresh . "

"Our stay was perfect for an overnight during further travel. We had a friendly greeting with information of where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and a more than adequate breakfast. We were lucky to have a parking space on site but there are not really enough spaces for the number of rooms. "

"The building is stunning. The room was great. The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super relaxing. Dogs are welcome and there is enough space for them to roam free. Maybe annoying if you don’t like dogs! Continental breakfast is very good but is a bit overpriced at €18. That’s the only complaint. Overall it’s a magical place. "
