Semi-detached house adjoining the owner's. Living room with kitchenette (refrigerator with freezer compartment) and wood-burning stove. Access to bedroom 1 (1 double bed 140x190cm) via two steps. Toilet. Shower room. Upstairs (Japanese-style staircase), bedroom 2 (3 single beds 90x190cm) and a shower room with toilet. Baby equipment available. Sofa bed in the living room. TV. Wi-Fi internet. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Bed linen for hire. Household linen not provided. Electric heating at an extra charge (flat rate from January to mid-May and from October to December). Cleaning service on request. Private enclosed garden. Terrace. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Garage. Parking. Only one pet allowed. In the green countryside of the Valognes bocage, La Blanche Maison is a well-known address. The only shop in the hamlet for many years, this house has now been converted into a gîte, enjoying a new lease of life. Huguette and François ran this bar and grocery store until 2017, much to the delight of the locals. Huguette knows this wooded and hilly area intimately. From the nearby wildlife park to the heritage gems of Valognes, there are plenty of surprises to discover. An avid hiker herself, she can also recommend beautiful walks in the surrounding area. The small, enclosed garden at the rear is private and peaceful. A few steps lead to a private terrace. The village is very close to the port of St. Vaast la Hougue and its island of Tatihou.

The price does not include: charging for an electric or hybrid vehicle.

Une chouette maison pour de supers vacances

Une très jolie maison, meublée et décorée avec soin et sobriété. Un jardin ensoleillé dans lequel on a envie de se poser, grâce aux chaises longues et aux fleurs multicolores. Des hôtes très accueillants et prévenants, qui nous ont en plus régalés avec les délicieuses récoltes de leur jardin et de leur poulailler. Très amateurs de leur région, ils nous ont parlé des coins à découvrir, et nous ont même emmenés en rando avec eux ! (et voir des cigognes !) Comme en plus la météo a été très bienveillante, nos vacances ont été parfaites ! Merci Huguette, merci François pour votre accueil, et peut-être à une prochaine fois. En tous cas, nous recommanderons votre gîte à nos proches !
