"The Chateau was very beautiful and was even more than we could wish for. The hostess Anki was very warm, helpfull and welcoming. She helped with all of our questions and we could always give her a call. The view from the pool was stunning and despite our age differences (1,5 - 80 years), all of us had an equally amazing stay. "We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"We absolutely loved the chateau- it was large with a lovely garden, pool and lots of nice bedrooms. The chateau was very private and close to a lovely little village and waterfall. The hosts were very quick and easy to contact. Would recommend to any large family or friend group"

"A very well-appointed property which catered very well for our extended family of 9, ages ranging from 1 to 75. There was ample space for us not to be under each others' feet and enough bathrooms for each family (and a teenage granddaughter!). The outdoor facilities were excellent including the summer kitchen/ barbecue area, the variety of games equipment and (especially) the fabulous swimming pool.There is ample shade around the property for those extremely hot southern French days.Access to the mountains is very easy and they can be seen clearly from the surrounding area.The hosts, Mary-Jo and John are excellent and helpful without being intrusive.As a very rural area car is, of course essential, and shops are a 1- - 15 minute drive away; the baker in St Marcet is, however, worth the morning drive for excellent bread and pastries!.We strongly recommend Chateau Floran"

"We had a great time at the property and was a great bass to explore the area. We drove to Carcassonne which is well worth the drive, we also visited the prehistoric parc which is a lovely drive. Bossot was also worth the drive with stunning views and also visited the zoo. St Girons market on saturdays is again worth a visit, Azir caves and the reptile centre which is probably less than an hour away again is worth the visit. Thank you from all of us "
