"The room was great, good bed and good size bathroom. This hotel is minutes away from the Old Town. Car parking is available for a fee. And the breakfast is worth the money- very good for someone who isn’t a breakfast gal."

"The location of this parador is one of the most spectacular I have seen (and I travel a lot, too many countries). And, as all Paradors I have stayed in, the design of the building and of the rooms is outstanding. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff is polite and helpful. I wish we could stay longer! "

"I researched all the hotels of Girona before my trip and wasn’t sure whether or not to pick Nord 1901 as the reviews were quite mixed, but I’m really pleased I did. The best thing about the hotel is the location, which is ideal for exploring the most interesting and beautiful parts of the city. The hotel is just round the corner from the bridge to the old town, next to a lovely square and a bustling shopping street. Yet it was still very quiet at night. The room was huge, almost to the point of feeling a bit bare! The bed was comfortable and I slept deeply on both nights of my stay. Shower pressure was spot on. Staff were helpful and polite. Overall, the hotel is a little old fashioned in style but at this price point, for the size of the room and the hotel location, it’s a really good deal. "

"Excellent stay in Girona. We use this hotel as a stopover from the UK to the south of Spain. Very clean, premium in room toiletries (Rituals) and very friendly atmosphere. Our dog travels with us for a small supplement and he can sit in the lounge bar for evening meals/ breakfast. 15 minute walk into the city, nothing too tasking. Overall 10/10. Pilar on front desk very welcoming!"

"Room was very spacious (I had king size with ocean view. Beautiful place with best views in Tamariu Excellent location. We were not in season season early Dec. hiking trail just off the patio of the hotel. You walk out from hotel to the beach. Restaurant with beautiful view. Food vey good. Very peaceful. "
