Excellent stay. We book the two queen beds room, had a nice view of the mountains. The room has everything you need for a cozy, country stay. The host was very thoughtful and provided us easy self-checking services. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable. There's also a full set of kitchenware and simple cookware available in room. The location is perfect for a short drive to the local hot spring. We had an amazing time there.
Sweet, cozy and simple. Lovely view of the mountains from our bedroom front door in the morning. Communication was simple ...first thru Expedia messaging...then directly thru texting. Would stay here again! :)
Cute place. Laid back and comfortable stay.
Didn’t see any employees during our stay. Did self check-in and am not sure we checked out correctly. Didn’t hear back from anyone when I reached out. Was bummed that breakfast was not available. Wish I had known that would be the case.

Monroe is a lovely place. The Inn is very pleasant and quiet. The only issue I had was with the bathroom. It is old and smells like mildew. The shower is in the bathtub and you have to really be limber to climb into the bathtub( it is very high) The jets in the tub have a lot of build up. There is no way I would soak in that tub. In fact if you are older this is not the room to book. There are many stairs to get into the room and the high tub is not easy to get into. The room was clean and we really did enjoy our peaceful stay.
I really expected to love this place. I booked in the morning for a stay on my way from LA to Denver and the inn was recommended by a friend. Apparently there was an error in the booking, and my reservation booked for the following night. One of the owners didn’t realize this (nor had I) and gave me the room. At 10:00pm, after driving for 12 hours, I was in the tub and there was a pounding on the door. It was the other owner, demanding that I leave immediately. So I was forced to find another place at 10:30 pm, exhausted and in a strange place. I understand that I his is a small inn and they needed to honor their other booking. I tried to get a refund for the following night which I clearly wouldn’t be using, but the owner said I would have to get it through Expedia. When I contacted Expedia, I was told the owner’s policy was no refunds. I then contacted the owner and asked them to at least discount a room on my return trip to attempt to make it right, but was refused. I am seriously disappointed in the customer service I received.
We absolutely loved it here! We stopped here on our way from Bryce Canyon and then going to Moab. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and communicative. Our room was very spacious and had kitchen facilities and a wonderful bathroom. The hosts told us about a free mineral springs which was very close and absolutely wonderful. Even better yet was the breakfast! It was the best breakfast we had during our entire trip and they brought it right to our room. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to go back!
Cute place to stay. We enjoyed the patio area, which had nice landscaping and a pretty garden area. Bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. I’d recommend staying here.
Beautiful property in a quiet area close to the hot springs and national parks of Utah. I enjoyed my overnight stay here. The bed was so cozy and the room I stayed in very welcoming and relaxing. I loved having my coffee on the patio in the morning.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Our room wasn’t actually in the beautiful home advertised, in fact you never even enter the historic home because there is no lobby. The room was in an old, rundown building behind the home. The room was spacious, clean and had good amenities. However, there was no thermostat in the room so we couldn’t increase the a/c. The room was on the second floor so it got quite hot in there. We also asked for an early check in to which we got a snarky reply from the inn keeper and then a call just 5 minutes before normal checking time telling us we could pick up our key.
Fabulous, comfortable stay at a unique gem of a place! Large accommodations (like a small apartment), rustic and charming decor, wonderful hosts. Farm to table food! I highly recommend you stop here for this experience.
The proprietor ( I can't remember his name ) was very prompt and courteous and willing to give you his time. It's a family business and for the cost, I have never had a nicer, or larger place to relax. I did think the picture was misleading in that the room(s) I rented were NOT in the Brick house (which I really wanted to see the inside of) but rather in another building on the property. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic stay with lots of homemade things available for purchase. Awesome yard if you have kids. Super close to hot springs. Might come back to Monroe just to stay at this awesome place again! Our kids loved the chickens and fish pond on site
This is a beautiful house that has been converted to a bed and breakfast style accommodation. Breakfast is offered but not included in the room price. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The self check in/out was very efficient. We enjoyed our stay at The Monroe Inn and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
A great little place to stay in beautiful Monroe. Our host met us and showed us to our room and made sure we knew they were available if we needed anything.
Our stay at Monroe Inn was fantastic! I booked our stay through Expedia, which I later learned was not the best way to do it. If you're planning a trip to Monroe Inn, it's best to go through their website directly than to book through Expedia. We had issues with payment because according to Expedia, I was to pay at the property, but I was really supposed to pay beforehand. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful and we got it figured out. The bed and pillows were comfy, everything was clean, and the property is so inviting and comfortable. They have a gazebo, porch table, and fire pit and wood for guests to use. It's in a fantastic location, the free Red Hills Hot Springs are less than three minutes away. The owners were flexible with us when it came to check in time and sent us self-check in instructions just in case we got to the inn late. They offer AMAZING breakfast. My favorite breakfast is Eggs Benedict, and theirs were some of the best I've ever had. I'm picky about the hollandaise sauce but theirs exceeded my expectations. They also offer charcuterie boards with locally sourced foods that was a great option for lunch on Sunday. I cannot recommend this place enough.
