"Very peaceful! Very welcoming! This was a great place, blending old and new! Our group was 20 - 65 years old. All of the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well appointed. We really loved the outdoor cooking area and the outdoor seating areas. What a view! This would be a great place for a retreat and to unplug (although there is solid wifi and TVs throughout). The owner went over and above. We entered the house to an array of snacks and beverages on the counter. I can't say enough about this...

"The property is very nice plenty of room for large family or big group. House was a little warm because of weather and setting on t-stat But other than the one day that we had other family stop by we didn’t get to spend much time at the house. "This is, by far, the best hotel in the Freeport area. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the best I have ever stayed in. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and were there for two days. I talked to a variety of staff members....custodial, breakfast and front desk....all were friendly and helpful. The rooms and general facility were very clean and beds were very comfortable! Absolutely loved the free cookies at the front desk. Breakfast can be hit or miss with hotels, but this hotel and a variety of hot and cold options.....very tasty all around. It is evident that this staff works hard and they are managed/led very well."
