"The room was clean and well kept. The breakfast was a little disappointing with only cold cereal or honey buns. Coffee was way too strong. Luckily there was a McDonald's across the highway nearby. The room opened to the outside and parking lot, but we felt safe. Did not know about the $50. deposit for damages, but it was released before the end of the day I checked out."

"Worst and dirtiest hotel I have been to. We asked for a different room in hopes it would be cleaner. The second room was even worse. We couldn't stay there, we left and found another room. "

"The hotel was great. Seems like a new property. I really had no complaints ab this hotel. There’s new hotels coming up in this area. There is a sketchy hotel close by but it was on the opposite side of the parking lot so it didn’t bother us much but that was our view from our hotel room. We didn’t have breakfast. Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and quiet. I’d stay here again. "

Captain Joe truly made the experience exceptional, his thoughtful recommendations and attention to detail made everything seamless from start to finish. It felt like we had a local guide ensuring we didn’t miss a thing.The kayaks were such a fun and peaceful addition, giving us the chance to really soak in the beauty of the lake. And the personal touches didn’t go unnoticed, the complimentary pasta and sauce from his cousin was such a unique and thoughtful gesture. Pairing that with wine from the nearby vineyard made for the perfect “take-home” memory.Overall, it felt like an Italian getaway with a Louisiana twist, warm, welcoming, and full of character. We can’t recommend this stay enough and are already looking forward to coming back!"

"The rooms and grounds are kept clean. It’s tucked behind a gas station so super quiet. We stayed there for just over 2 months due to husbands work. Never had an issue with anything. Staff/owners are amazing!! "
