Historic house, located in the heart of the center of Monopoli, has an authentic interior of the 900 restored and re-proposed in the original style; it is equipped with LED TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, kitchen with oven and washing machine. From its fantastic terrace, equipped with a gazebo table, chairs and sun beds, you can admire the imposing bell tower and the facade of the Cathedral Church with the icon of the Madonna della Madia protector of the city of Monopoli (Civitas Mariae). With a minimum stay of 7 nights in the summer (June-September) and weather permitting, a wonderful boat excursion is included for free

Great place, great town

Misleading description

The property did not have the five bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as described. There were 3 bedrooms and one shower-room. We were a friendship group of 6 older women - which the rental agency was made aware of ahead of our visit. We had to wash all cutlery, which had been used and replaced in the drawer, floors were dusty and gritty, kitchen and table surfaces were dirty. We contacted the rep about the discrepancy in the no of rooms etc and received a brief dismissal. We decided, that as we were in a beautiful, friendly area, to get on with things, clean up the space and enjoy our holiday. Six women to one shower and we still remained friends!😀

Disappointment

We were welcomed in a helpful and friendly way: this turned sour later when we mislaid keys (which were found and returned) and were charged 100 euros - 50 euros per key. The property did not live up to our expectations: 1 There is no living or sitting room 2 There is no TV 3 2 bathrooms are advertised: the second "bathroom" is only a toilet with no seat. 4 The kitchen is not functional 5 The third bedroom has no wardrobe and the beds are primitive. Stayz is at fault for not insisting that the landlords provide a detailed plan of each property - this would overcome some of the above problems. P. Atkin

Beautiful historical Appartement

A beautiful place, lovely terrace, old style and gorgeous decoration. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming! Very recommendable!

Séjour à Monopy

Ancienne maison qui a du charme. Très grand, très belle terrasse sur le toit mais attention beaucoup d'escalier. Petite cuisine typique très jolie mais qui manque un peu d'équipement (batterie de cuisine très vétuste). Nous avons très gentiment été accueilli par le papa du propriétaire qui nous avait apporté quelques pâtes, biscuits, vin,.... Malheureusement il ne parlait qu'italien et la communication a parfois été un peu difficile. Logement idéalement situé, proche de la mer et du centre historique à pied. Possibilité de garer la voiture dans le quartier.

Beautiful, spacious, central and clean! Very nice!

It is centrally located, close to the sea, with many magazines close by. The terrace is great. It is ideal for the family. Very nice.
