"Need a perfect place for R&R? If your answer is YES, the answer is definitely the Alas Resort & Spa. It is at the end of a quiet road near the village of Elia. It is totally self-contained with a sand beach, rocky beach for sunbathing, a fantastic pool with a bar nearby, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful spa. The rooms are great (ours was small but faced the Mediterranean). The staff was totally accommodating and nice. It was a great choice for us and can be for you too."

"A very quaint place to stay. Took us back in history. Generously had water, wine, juice, Soda and coffee/tea in our room. Also made excellent recommendations to venture through Old Monemvasia and what to do and where to eat. Very happy with Ardamis."

"We had a sea view room which was amazing!!! The property is situated in the heart of Neapolis and had accessibility to all tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars!! We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed it!!! The place is buzzing with activity, we swan in the beautiful, clean sea during the day, ate delicious food, walked and hung out with friendly locals! Our view consisted of Kithira and Elafoniso(sandy, gorgeous sand). At night twinkling lights were our view!!! Lastly, the staff could not do enough to make our stay awesome!! From the friendly front to the beautiful girl at the breakfast bar to our accomodating, smiling cleaning lady!!! Thank you all for an exemplary, fun 4 days!! Just a footnote, try Moreas taverna most amazing food ever!!!! Thank you Gea Elaia for an amazing stay!!!! Nick & Ann. Canada"

"Absolute gem of a Hotel. Great location for visiting Monemvasia palace but also private to enjoy the beautiful quiet patio. Excellent staff, fabulous breakfast. Highly recommended!!"

"Jimmy on reception was excellent and the Hotel is beautiful and if you can book a superior room that comes with a balcony it is worth it for the amazing views out to sea and over the rooftops of this amazing place.the only things that I think could be improved so that I would give the hotel an overall total of 5* is the air con unit in our room number 8 didn’t really blow cold air which made it hard to sleep and I also think they could do with a toasting machine at breakfast"

"Lovely hotel right across from the beach. We had the top floor room with a big balcony overlooking the beach. The welcome was very good, the man on reception gave us a map & lots of information. The room was big and really clean. The shower 'cubicle ' was a bit basic with a shower head that didn't want to stay in place, but in general it was good."
