Incredible place ! Loved my stay I would definitely come back . Lovely staff and sweet. Rooms are very clean and comfortable bed in my opinion. Parking was somewhat easy. But the place itself is really nice the pool is clean and good size with seating area.

The Castillo is stunningly beautiful with breath taking views, staff friendling and food superb. I cannot recommend this stunning old Moorish castle enough

If you want to stay apart from all the generall touristic places but still close enough, than this is the place to go. Even if it is only reachable by car it was a very lovely experience. Great view in the morning from the castle and excellant service/staff.

Wonderful end to our holiday!

Fabulous hotel, stunning views from our room! Beautiful gardens and swimming pool, and the food was also excellent. Loads of nooks and crannies for you to have your lunch amongst the gardens. I loved this place!! Not for anyone unsteady on their feet, lots of steps, and the walk into the village would be too steep for some, but we really enjoyed it

Magical. Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

Excellent stay and super friendly reception and people : ) Room was great and also the food in restaurant. Nice with drinks in the pool when relaxing. Very calm place in general. Last road part is quite scary if you are scared of hights. It does not have the side protection which normal roads have. There is two ways in, city or the scary road : ) Both have their + & -. /AJ

A special stay

We were late arriving, so some what stressed; but on arrival we were made to feel welcome and at ease and our dinner reservation was put back. The hotel is a special place with an authentic feel about the restoration with classic furniture and a charming ambience. The restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast. It lived up to all it's positive reviews, starting with a stunning setting through to a high level of service from everyone that we interacted with. The road up to the castle needs to be taken slowly and with care but is perfectly safe. The route out is a lot simpler! Go there, you will not be disappointed!

It’s a lovely property but there’s no hot water - I appreciate that they’re trying to be environmentally friendly but using solar power only and making guests take cold showers is just … yuck. Was also surprised there was no lotion, conditioner or bath robes. It’s a nice enough place that those things are expected .If it had those things hot water, I would highly recommend it. Views are stunning, decor is amazing, food is great and staff is friendly. But again, rude awakening with the cold shower :(
