"Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

The pool is a great feature during a July heatwave. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. "We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."
