Don’t miss out on the fresh sea breeze along the coast. Numerous biking and hiking trails lead to the most beautiful rest stops, which invite you to unwind and daydream, among other things.
The town of Groß Zicker, located on the southern side of the so-called Zicker Alps, is part of the municipality of Gager. These green hills, reaching heights of up to 66 metres, are part of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve and are grazed by sheep.
The breathtaking surroundings aren’t just a treat for nature lovers—whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, there’s something for everyone here.
The gorgeous beach on the east coast between Lobbe and Thiessow is only about 2 km away and can be easily reached by bike (about 10 minutes) or by car (plenty of parking available).
Every year, numerous harbour festivals, sailing regattas, and much more take place in Gager, making the holiday a very special experience even for our younger guests. No one will ever be bored here.
Whether it’s excursions on sailing or fishing boats or hikes through the Zickerschen Mountains, there’s something for every taste here.
By the way: from the pier in Gager, you can watch what are arguably the most beautiful sunsets on Rügen.

As guests at this holiday rental, you and your travelling companions have free admission (up to 3 hours daily) to the AHOI! water park with its large sauna area in the neighbouring town of Sellin for the duration of your stay. There is NO swimming pool on the property itself.
