Alt-Reddevitz is a small fishing village with about 150 residents, situated on the beautiful Mönchgut peninsula in southeast Rügen, on the 3.5 km long and 300 meter wide Reddevitzer Höft, which extends into the Greifswalder Bodden.
With activities like hiking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing, and sailing, Alt-Reddevitz and the "Reethaus am Boddenblick" holiday complex are ideal for nature lovers. The natural beach is perfect for swimming, and the shallow waters of the Hagensche Wiek are safe for small children. The sandy beaches of Sellin, Göhren, and Baabe are 3–5 km away and easily reached by well-maintained bike paths.
