About this property

Charming gîte in the heart of a water mill. 40 minutes from Le Mans and 15 minutes from Le Perche

  • Welcome and come and discover this charming cottage on the banks of the river and in the heart of a fully restored 15th century mill. Its wooden wheel, its machines and its history will seduce you!
    Located at the gates of the Perche, 40 minutes from Le Mans and the Alpes Mancelles.
    You will enjoy a real haven of peace in your detached and private house, on a plot of more than 4 hectares and in a very pretty rural and bucolic setting.
    Fishing enthusiasts will also be delighted to stay here
    Everything is included with us and you won't have to worry about anything.

    Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen, (dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave etc.) with dining area and lounge area including a 2-seater sofa bed. Upstairs, a small children's bedroom with 1 bed 90x160 perched on the mezzanine overlooking the large bedroom for adults, including its large 2-seater bed 160x200. From the bedroom, you will take a small staircase of 3 steps to access the bathroom below under the mezzanine. This bathroom has a shower, double sink, toilet, towel dryer and a washing machine.
    Beds made on arrival, towels provided on request. Heating included.
    There is no air conditioning, but the house remains cool in summer due to its design of stone walls and lime plaster, which will allow you to enjoy this natural air conditioning in summer.
    Large south-facing outdoor terrace with table and chairs for your outdoor meals. Barbecue available on request.
    Hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
    Fishing enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy the waterways free of charge with their own equipment as well as the pond and its boat.
    High-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection and free outdoor parking spaces on the property. Possibility of covered garage on request at an additional cost (ridiculous and symbolic price).

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans ce gite. L'environnement est idéal avec son vieux moulin et le gite est un cocon agréable. C'est arrangé avec gout, il ne manque rien. Notre hôte était agréable et a notre disposition pour tous besoins ou renseignements sur la région. Nous avons passé un super WE et nous reviendrons certainement pour un plus long séjour.
