The Space:
Welcome to Vineyard House by Portugal Active, a peaceful retreat in Monção where you can slow down, enjoy nature and find the perfect balance between work and relaxation.
The apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming stay. The main bedroom features a double bed, storage space and a dedicated workspace, making it ideal for those who wish to work remotely in a peaceful setting. The living room offers a cosy space to unwind, with a double sofa bed that can accommodate up to two additional guests, making the apartment suitable for up to 4 people.
The kitchenette is equipped with essential appliances and utensils, including a hob, microwave and coffee machine, allowing you to prepare simple meals during your stay. The apartment also features a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
Outside, you can enjoy the garden, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, relax on the sun loungers or make use of the barbecue area. When the apartments are booked individually, these outdoor areas are shared with guests staying in the other apartments.
For families or groups of friends, there is also the option to book the entire property, which can accommodate up to 12 people, allowing everyone to enjoy a shared experience in a peaceful natural setting.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to all the property's communal areas, including the swimming pool, garden and indoor facilities. However, please note that the outdoor areas may be shared with other guests if the entire property is not booked exclusively.
Our concierge service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist with any requests, from arranging local excursions to booking private chef services. To ensure availability, please request any services at least 72 hours in advance.

Important notes:
- During the high season (May to October), the swimming pool and garden are regularly maintained to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.
- The swimming pool is closed from November to April.

Monção is renowned for its lush green landscapes, its winemaking tradition centred around the famous Alvarinho wine, and its rich local cuisine. Just a 5 to 10-minute drive away, you can explore the town's historic centre, stroll along its old town walls, visit the Museu do Alvarinho or discover traditional restaurants where you can sample local specialities, such as the famous Cordeiro à Moda de Monção (Monção-style lamb). The Monção thermal baths, perfect for a relaxing break, are also just a short drive away.
The proximity to the River Minho offers plenty of opportunities for peaceful walks, cycling and enjoying the surrounding nature. The Spanish border is also just around 10 minutes away, where you can visit Salvaterra de Miño and discover the flavours and culture of Galicia.

Getting Around:
Vineyard House by Portugal Active, located within Quinta da Teimosa by Portugal Active, is situated in Monção, in the heart of the Alto Minho region. The most convenient way to reach the property is by car, allowing you to explore the region with complete freedom and flexibility. Free on-site parking is available for the convenience of our guests.
The property is set in a peaceful area, approximately a 5 to 10-minute drive from the historic centre of Monção, where you can discover the famous Monção thermal baths, stroll through the town's charming streets, visit traditional restaurants and explore the local shops.
Approximately an hour's drive away is Viana do Castelo, a charming coastal city well worth a visit. It features a beautiful historic centre, lovely beaches, the iconic Sanctuary of Santa Luzia and magnificent views over the River Lima and the Atlantic Ocean.
For those travelling by air, the nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, approximately an hour and a half away by car. We recommend hiring a car to discover the charms of the Alto Minho region and make the most of everything it has to offer.
