"We loved our stay at Rila! It was the best location for the slopes & we loved the huge variety of food we were offered for breakfast and dinner! We loved the surprise of having a live singer in the lounge downstairs after dinner, it was a lovely addition to some of our evenings! Our room was really spacious too & staff were really helpful at reception when we needed anything! "

"The room was the worst hotel room I’ve ever seen and certainly nowhere near 4 star. Everything is Broken and filthy with insects and bugs. Food was just as bad no variety at all, pointless going half board as we had to eat out most of the time as it was so bad. The facilities are neglected the customer care non existent and most nights there was screaming and fighting from locals at the front reception leaving clubs and bars . Incredibly unsafe for families and poor value for money. Worst experience at any hotel ever! "

"At this price point, Hotel Grand, in Samakov, is excellent value. The owner, Stanislav, was very helpful and gave us great service. The room was fine, the restaurant was fine, the bar was fine. There are 4 large supermarkets very near the hotel. We like supermarkets :) We had a great, comfortable stay. Thank you Stanislav and your team :)"

"The room was mediocre, uncomfortable bed, they only gave us 2 towels for the tow of as. No towels for your hands. For an 110€+ per night hotel I would expect to have the white slippers which they normally put them in the room. We had the spa included, but you had to pay extra for the bathrobe. I won’t recommend it "
