"In the last 12 months I stayed here about 14 days and I recommended this place to friends who stayed over 21 days in total. Compared to other places in Nyali, the Voyager is to be preferred. The food is OK. Not too impressive. Meats could be better cooked. Fruits are fresh. All inclusive does not include all bottled drinks. Bars offer drinks. No snacks. (All inclusive in Egyptian or Turkish resorts for the same price offer day long snacks, burgers, doners, hot dogs etc....) The beach is very small and unpractical. One section of the hotel is being remodeled. So, expect construction noise by day and some loud music by night from the neighbors. Rooms are large and most of them have partial sea view. Furniture looks over 50 years old. Beds are comfortable. Hot water and A/C work. People are nice and friendly. This is why I plan to come back here soon."
"they seem to need to upgrade their utilities, wifi was hard to keep connected to, no water on one day, no hot water in the mornings, but was corrected by end of our stay, electric seemed it reset on a daily base short span for about a minute at night but the last night went out for 2 hours.
the beach is not private it is semi private, meaning part of the beach was rope off from vendors but as soon as you past the rope to enter the ocean you were at the vendors mercy.
But beside the above problems the facilities was very nice.
pleasant and kind personal, great atmosphere and yes i would stay there again in the future knowing what I know now and hopefully they have correcteed their issues with the utilities, I stayed in room 5103"
"The staff was amazing throughout our stay.
The buffet had plenty of choices and the staff at the restaurant was very attentive to our needs.
The pools are well maintained although the closing time for the pools seems to be a bit early, I believe they close the pools at 6 pm. This would be the only soft complain about our stay.
We have been there in the past and they seem to keep up the good work and customer service."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Sapphire. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with excellent amenities throughout. The bathroom was spotless and looked amazing, with a great shower and very clean facilities.
As a traveler from Canada, I was particularly impressed by the level of cleanliness and overall quality. There were no bugs or bed bugs, and the hotel was maintained to a standard that reminded me of a Marriott hotel. Everything felt comfortable, safe, and welcoming.
Hotel Sapphire truly felt like a home away from home. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mombasa and needing to stay in town."
"Great location. Not the friendliest staff when we visited, and the resort could do with a little more TLC in places, but a pleasant stay regardless.
But we had a wonderful time. The Valentine's special was a rip off considering it was 90% the same food as the all-inclusive menu we had already paid for."
"The staff were very patient, friendly, and accommodating. They were very hospitable. I enjoyed my stay here. There are a lot of monkeys on the resort fyi but they don’t bother the guests. The WiFi wasn’t as strong in my room but other than that I enjoyed my stay."
"First and foremost I would like to thank Lucy and her team for an excellent stay! We faced some challenges, however Lucy went out of her way to ensure all was up to par and truly made it seamless! The resort was absolutely stunning! The staff made it feel like home and Lucu was the cherry on top! Due to her, our trip was incredible and I cannot thank her and the team enough! Highly recommend the place!"
