"Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....

"This was our last stay in Sri Lanka & turned out to be a very relaxing end to our holiday. its right on the river & you can take a boat ride under the mangroves from the hotel's jetty - a memorable, scenic ride. the view of the river from the balcony of our room gave us a serene calm feeling. tables & chairs are provided outside each room on the balcony which can be serviced from a separate entrance. "Stannade där i 3 nätter, bra service från hotell ägaren som var trevlig. Polen fin men vi ville mera vara vid havet. De körde en till stranden gratis med tuktuk vilket var riktigt bra, stranden är fin men det finns så många finare stränder och städer på Sri lanka som jag mer skulle rekommendera att besöka. Helt okej vistelse men skulle inte välja att bo här igen."

"The staff were wonderful and much more helpful and friendly than the management. The room was wonderful and the food was good. It is further from the beach than other reviewers indicate but they have a very inexpensive tuk tuk service available. The pool is small but fits the bill when it is hot out and you don't want to go to the beach."

"A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue."
