However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. "The stay at the Hotel was excellent. The room and the hotel facilities were also excellent. Morning breakfast was good quality and varied with superb choice and plenty of seating. Customer service was excellent. Easy walk to Riva Del Garda by accessing a gate a the end of the grounds. Pool facilities good with a backdrop of wonderful mountain scenery with quick access to one of the restaurants next to the pool to buy drinks or ice cream etc to bring back to the pool."

"This is an older hotel with dated furniture and bathroom fixtures, etc., but it is clean, spacious, good value, and in an excellent location. We were able to walk to and from the train station with our luggage. The arena, castelvechhio, Piazza Bra, etc. are all in easy walking distance. The street that the hotel is located on has many restaurants and cafes on the way to the main attractions."
