"The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience. The description should include how long it takes to get to the location from Regua, The picture of home did not match pics on description. The neighborhood...

"The check-in process was smooth and great. João was really helpful and available to give us all needed information for our stay. The place was clean, well equipped and had a wonderful view of the Douro valley. We really enjoyed our stay and I think this wonderful house added to our enjoyment of Portugal as a whole."

"Our house was literally at the foot of a vineyard...a spectacular setting and a beautiful drive from Porto. The house was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated and had a nice patio to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. The wine tasting room was just a staircase away. Free public parking was available a couple of blocks away and restaurants were a short walk. The home was clean with comfortable beds. We would stay here again!"

"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."

"A spacious and cool villa with a superb outdoor area for everyone and fantastic BBQ setting that we enjoyed a lot. The holiday would have been perfect if not for the HUGELY uncomfortable beds and FREEZING cold pool. Even after communication, and the pool technician, the temperature was ice cold. It’s also on a fairly busy road (with a development happening over the road - lots of noisy machinery and building works) but that would have been easily ignored if the beds and pool had been better....
