"Host was friendly, and helpful. Almost like a great uncle trying to make you feel at home. Room was clean, but a bit dark. And it was ONLY a room with ensuite. Even with the roll down aluminum shutters the busy street noise was enough to require ear plugs for sleeping. It is on a streetcar line from the Erfurt Haupbahnhof. Breakfast was good, but a little too personal."

"Gemütliche und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit reichlich Platz für Zwei- und Vierbeiner. Für unsere Tochter wurden Babybett, Wickeltisch und Hochstuhl bereitgestellt ebenso ein Schaukeltier und wir durften die Spielsachen für draußen mitnutzen. In Laufnähe gibt es einen tollen Spielplatz und viele Feldwege für schöne Hunderunden. Nach Jena und Weimar ist es ein nicht weit aber im näherer Umgebung gibt es auch viel zu entdecken. Schöne Unternehmungstipps bekommt man von Familie Walor."

"der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett und angenehm. Obwohl wir es nicht in der vereinbarten Zeit geschafft haben einzuchecken war es sehr unkompliziert. Es gab tolles Wasser und eine Obstkorb in der Wohnung. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Zudem war die Wohnen sehr schöne und sauber. Die Treppe nach oben war wie es in alten Häusern ist sehr schmal und steil, für uns überhaupt kein Problem."

"Die FeWo 10 war sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten in Form von einer kostenlosen Minibar im Körbchen und die Begrüßungsgetränke haben uns sehr gefreut. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und für den täglichen Bedarf war alles vorhanden. Die Lage zur Straße ist auch kein Problem, da dort sehr wenig Verkehr ist. "TL;DR: rooms are dated but very comfortable, breakfast is incredible, location is great for exploring Weimar. Now the full version: check-in was easy and fast, staff was very friendly. We were amused that the hotel doesn’t use keycards but actual keys still. That in fact resonates with the room decor and overall aesthetic: lots of dark wood and carpet with gold details, giving it a dated feel. It isn’t, however, a bad room at all. Size was more than perfect for my husband and I, and the room was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, including slippers and bathrobes. Shower was on the okay side but the bathroom is definitely spacious. Be aware that at least in our case the double bed was actually two beds pushed together, but they were very comfortable nonetheless. The breakfast buffet was a hands-down winner, though, with ample variety and fresh ingredients. You can tell the hotel and the staff put a lot of effort into all the details, such as the lovely cards with various quotes that you could find in your room or on your breakfast table. We did use the parking and valet service for an additional fee and th parking is conveniently located behind the building. Finally, location-wise this hotel is fantastic. We got to explore all the sights and the Christmas market on foot. I would definitely recommend the stay. "
