  • The apartment "The Magic Flute," formerly used as a stable, is located in the outbuilding of a 19th-century farmhouse, surrounded by a garden with almond, olive and orange trees.



    The Magic Flute offers a double bedroom and a kitchen-living room with an opening single bed. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, free WiFi and private parking on site.



    An interior "baglio" of ancient basalt tiles, adorned with flowers, creates an atmosphere of peace and serenity and allows guests to relax after a day spent discovering the many treasures of the Val di Noto and to enjoy, in the evening, the silence and the view of the stars. Inside the baglio, an outdoor kitchen, located under a wooden canopy and available to guests, allows, during the warm season, to have breakfast outdoors, but also to prepare a meal when you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and prefer an intimate dinner in complete relaxation in contact with nature.



    I am an outgoing and communicative retired teacher. I have carried out, for years, many European projects accompanying my pupils around Europe to offer them the opportunity to learn about other cultures and to grow in respect for each other. I studied at the University of Catania where I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature with a thesis on the origins of English journalism. I have collaborated with "la Gazzetta del Sud, "La Pagina," "L'Immaginario," of which I was Editor-in-Chief for many years, and with other local newspapers, taking care, above all, of gender issues.



    Although the farmhouse is nestled in the typical Modica countryside, it enjoys a strategic location for those wishing to visit the baroque cities included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Maria-Teresa parle couramment le français et l'anglais en plus de l'italien : la communication est excellente. Ce corps de ferme est entièrement rénové avec goût. Tout confort, prestations de qualité. La véranda est agréable et permet de se reposer ou de manger à l'ombre. Beau jardin fleuri et verger méditerranéen. Belle vue jusqu'à l'horizon. Situé dans la campagne, le site est très silencieux. Il est a quelques kilomètre de Modica.

Pros: Ik verbleef hier om te schrijven en daar bleek het de perfecte locatie voor. Rustig mooie omgeving heelt linke sfeer

Alle verwachtingen zijn overtroffen door deze top plek!

Pros: De locatie van dit verblijf is een kwartiertje rijden van Modica en dicht bij andere leuke stadjes als Ragusa/Ibla en Pozallo (badplaatsje op 30 minuutjes autorijden). We werden enorm gastvrij ontvangen door de host Maria, die hier zelf ook woont. Je krijgt de beschikking over een eigen halfvrijstaande bungalow mét riant terras waar je heerlijk buiten kunt zitten. Ook in de ruime leefkeuken kan je lekker je eigen gang gaan. Zaken als airco, badkamer en slaapkamer zijn hier bijzonder ruim. Gastvrouw Maria zorgt dat het je aan niks ontbreekt, maar doet verder haar eigen ding zodat je lekker je eigen gang kan gaan. Cons: Alles voldeed aan de verwachting!

Mooi huis, goede slaapkamer. Buitenkeuken is fijn (bij goed weer)

Pros: Host was zeer aardig en behulpzaam. Fijne ruime slaapkamer met goed bed. Cons: De woonkamer zou een paar goede stoelen kunnen gebruiken waar je lang lekker op kunt zitten.
