Welcome to Villa Axarquia: a private luxury villa in the hills of Moclinejo, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden and offering sweeping views over the Mediterranean Sea to Málaga (on very clear days: towards Africa) and the mountains of the Axarquía. This is a place for guests who value absolute peace, privacy and space—without being far from beaches, city life and the best day trips in Andalusia.

• ~30 minutes to Málaga Airport (AGP) and Málaga Old Town
• ~15 minutes to the beach and promenade in Rincón de la Victoria

Outdoor living – the heart of your stay
The outdoor areas are designed for real holiday living: lounge seating, dining for up to 8, sun loungers, and multiple shaded zones thanks to a pergola and an additional sun sail over the dining area. From here you can enjoy sunsets, the night lights of Málaga, and—if you’re lucky—watch cruise ships heading into the port in the distance. For BBQ evenings you have three options: gas, electric and charcoal grills.

Pool experience – comfort with a view
The pool is at ground level with the house and features a built-in bench seat in the curved section—perfect for relaxing while enjoying the panorama. Pool technology was renewed (2019/2022) and key functions and lighting can be controlled conveniently. Water treatment is salt electrolysis (low-chlorine), typically gentle for skin and eyes. Pool heating is available as an option; please request it in advance, as warm-up time depends on weather.

Inside – bright, comfortable and practical
The open-plan living and dining area is built around the view, with large panoramic windows and a fireplace for cooler evenings. The dining table seats 6 and can be extended (up to 12), although most guests prefer dining outdoors.
The kitchen is fully equipped for easy self-catering (dishwasher, microwave, multiple coffee options and more).

Bedrooms & bathrooms – ideal for two couples
You have two bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom—a real comfort advantage for two couples or friends travelling together. One bedroom also offers an additional double sofa bed for two extra guests (commonly used for children). There is also a separate guest WC.

Year-round comfort & “workation” readiness
Villa Axarquia works beautifully beyond summer thanks to heating/fireplace options and upgraded windows. Wi-Fi is approx. 100 Mbit/s and multiple routers provide strong coverage across the house and garden—useful for longer stays or remote work.

Fabulous villa

Fantastic villa with the most amazing views and superb pool. The beds and sofa are super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. It exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to visit again!
