"Very decent hotel with a nice breakfast and clean rooms. 90 seconds walk to the private beach/swimming pool. The only minor negatives were tiny sachets of shampoo and fair water pressure, although there was plenty of hot water. Overall, very good value for money in a superb location."

"The resort is a five minute walk from the main street and for us that was a big plus. The main street has a loud, dingy Phuket-like vibe which doesn't appeal to my wife and me. We stayed in the ocean view suite, which was fabulous for the Moalboal area. Beautiful ocean views when the weather permitted and a ten minute walk to the main sardine run area. We didn't dive but the low tide is extremely low so I saw people walking with their gear to the water and the dive boats. SECRET CHEAT CODE - the dive shop has a freezer full of ice cream novelties for sale. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was pretty meh but there are a number of better places close by so we only ate one dinner there. The laundry service is a great convenience and the staff is overall very helpful."

"No electricity when we arrived, the shower didn’t work, the WiFi was non-existent. We were at the mercy of the hosts for a car or tuk tuk ride everywhere. The “food” onsite was unedible. The hosts were only interested in upselling tours or rides. When I queried the rate we had paid with Hotels.com I was given the brush off but local places were one fifth of what we paid. We requested a refund but got nothing back. We left after one miserable night. We came for the snorkelling but the current was too strong onsite. Utterly disappointing. Do not go there. "
