In the era of the COVID-19 outbreak, travelling now comes with greater challenges. Make a note of the following tips before jumping on your flight to Mon:

• Research what rules and restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so make sure you check government advisories before booking.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.

• To minimize handling during the screening process, place personal items such as your belt, phone and wallet into your carry-on rather than the bins.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Keeping your food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA officer will need to open your bag for inspection.
