"really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. "This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Location was super convenient, right next to the river and Amanohashidate sandbar. Very cleans and well maintained room, even has a massage chair in the room. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something more authentic and don’t mind that the place doesn’t have a lift and concierge/front desk."

"We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Kitanoya. Everything was to perfection. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths. You can sit under a canopy of trees and enjoy nature! Our spacious room had a picture-perfect view of the bay. The food was stupendous. Fresh, varied, and yummy. The staff are very professional and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. The location is just a 6-minute walk to the station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle. I didn't want to leave!"
