Room was spacious for 3 adults. I requested a nonsmoking room but there was an ashtray in our room. Bathroom was very small. Wonderful staff. You can borrow a night gown, robe, and toiletries from an area in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay.

A very peaceful stay near the shrine in Fujinomiya. It was nice to have a genuine tatami room sleep.
If you are a big party this could be a really great place to book all rooms.
If you have accessible needs, I will say there are a number of non-uniform stair cases, unexpected changes and dropoffs throughout, but in my opinion this is to be expected in an old building like this.
If the accessibility notes aren’t a concern I would recommend this place to get a taste of quiet and more traditional Japan.
