"I would not hesitate to recommend Nichols Inn to anyone. Check-in was easy, staff was professional, and the property was well maintained. I initially had a problem with the TV, called for help and the staff person on duty was quick to resolve the issue."

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. Any staff we talked to was friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic - especially the adult only area and swim up bar (wish there had been a few more options to choose from for drinks) - but this was by far my favorite area during our stay. I didn't get to try the lazy river, but looked relaxing. Dined at one of the restaurants, but I was not very impressed with the food or some of the service from a couple of the wait staff - waitress didn't really check on us and one of the other wait staff ignored customers that were waiting to be seated even though there was plenty of open spaces. Food was bland, a little on the cold side and didn't the bloody Mary I had was not very good - it seemed to be missing something. There were a lot of places on the floor to get a drink - options were limited though. Overall, our stay was good, relaxing and pleasant. We would book here again."

"My wife and I celebrated a special occasion with a weekend getaway to Red Wing and a stay at the St. James Hotel. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff helped make our weekend even more memorable when they accommodated my request to have roses and champagne waiting in our room as a surprise for my wife. She was absolutely delighted. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the amenities were excellent. The exceptional service and attention to detail made our stay truly special. We look forward to returning in the future."

"This house was perfect for our family vacation. It looked just like the pictures and was super clean and inviting. The kids absolutely loved the pool. The host Nicole was beyond great with communication and was super helpful and very quick with responses. Definitely would come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The location right by the water was beautiful and so peaceful. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

"Very relaxing. I have family in the surrounding areas. We were able to get together on the patio for a picnic and have a small birthday party for my brother. Chris was very nice to allow our small gathering for the afternoon. Bed was so comfortable. Slept like a baby. Would definitely return and recommend this spacious place."
