WARNING: Do Not Book a Reservation Here. This Hotel is very shady. They accepted two nights prepayment from us (denominated in Euros???) and when we arrived they had resold our room to someone else and left a photocopied note on the door saying they weee sold out and yo contact management if you already had a room that they gave to someone else. They have yet to refund our money and forced us to spend two hours looking for a replacement hotel during a sold out ND move in weekend. THEY ARE DISGRACEFUL!

We booked for 3 nights. When we arrived, we noticed that the lobby was rundown and a handwritten sign at the reception stated that guests staying less than 7 days would be charged an extra $10 and plus $2 per day. After seeing the room ( stains on the pillowcases, on furniture and in the bathroom ), our family decided we could not stay there and we checked out immediately. The woman at the reception refunded $ 14 to my credit card the next day However, I have not received any refund from the property owner Belvilla. While I don’t expect any refund for the first night, I do expect my money back for nights two and three. I have attempted to contact Belvilla but they have not responded.

Warning: Do NOT book a reservation at this property (or any other managed by its owners). The first signal that problems might arise was that they denominate their room charge in Euros. But having prepaid for two nights more than two months in advance, I never expected to arrive at 11:00 pm DURING NOTRE DAME MOVE-IN WHEN NO OTHER OPTIONS WERE AVAILABLE to a dark and dingy entrance with a sign taped to the glass door saying: “Unfortunately, We don't have any rooms available. All paid reservations will be refunded. Office closed early due to short staffing. Thank you. -Management” Calling the hotel management did no good. They said they had unilaterally decided to give away rooms that had already been booked and prepaid. My wife was with me and we feared we would be sleeping in our car but thankfully we found a Comfort Inn nearby that was charging an arm and a leg given the ND move-in period. Truly a disgraceful and incredibly frustrating experience. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL! YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF AGGRAVATION BY FINDING ANOTHER ONE!!!

Exzellenter Kundenservice!
