"We spent a night at the Oscar prior to travelling back to the UK. The reception staff were extremely helpful and managed to check us in a couple of hours early, which was much appreciated after a long overnight train journey. The outside pool was fabulous, and the room (superior junior suite) was sizeable and well appointed. Breakfast was good, and we also ate in the Mayfair pub in the evening. Prices are perhaps a little more expensive than other non-hotel restaurants, and there were some missing options on the menu, but the food quality was very high, the cocktails were great and the portion sizes substantial. The honey cake in particular was terrific! Highly recommended for a luxury stay, and incredibly convenient for the airport."
