"Good location for visiting surrounding area. Accommodation adequate for 2 people but for 4 a bit of a squeeze. Stairs to bedroom quite steep with small landing and light switch behind door. As bathroom was on ground floor we found it easier to sleep downstairs. As owner did not speak any English we feel more information about the local area, doctors, chemists,shops etc would have been useful. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. "This is a new gite in a refurbished building situated in a very large garden adjacant to the owner's home. The owners were very friendly and discreet. The swimming pool was lovely especially as we arrived in a heatwave. There is nice baker for baguettes and croissants 2 minutes by foot, and also a small cafe and a pizza takeaway. The pretty village of Eygalieres is two miles away and has a good selection of restaurants and an interesting market on Fridays. Highly recommended."
