Our Fun Week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first walked into our condo, my son gasped in awe of our condo. He and his family were overjoyed at our vacation home for the week. He did discover that the pullout couch bed wasn’t the most comfortable for him and his wife, but other than that our experience was wonderful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was great but the tv’s didn’t work. We called and they sent maintenance up within 2 hours and the gentlemen was super nice and was able to fix the problem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The sheets on the King Size bed didn’t fit very well and was torn on the corners. There was mold on the walls in the shower. The safety lock on the front door was missing. You could see daylight around the door.

Disappointed!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we noticed how dirty the condo was. Thankfully I brought disinfectant wipes. The master bedroom comforter had large yellow stains and we washed all of the bedding. Pillow cases also had not been washed. The unit boasts having chairs and an umbrella as part of the package. However, the reserved spot it way down the beach.Surf Side is a much better choice right next store, and we have stayed there previously. Property management at Surf Side is way better.

0303A stay from 5/30 to 6/4/23

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was pleasant. The condo was clean and large enough for our family, a party of 5. The beds were a bit uncomfortable due to very firm mattresses. The most comfortable sleeping experience was had by my soon on the pull-out couch, which had a softer pad. The furniture is nice and new. We did not cook but the kitchen had enough to manage. There are only essentials there ( no spices or pantry items as are in some rentals). The coffee pot is a pot, not a keurig just for preparation notes - you'll need to bring or buy all meal preparation items. We did not interact with any staff except for gate security. The location is convenient to dining and shopping. The umbrellas were arranged daily ( be there at 9AM to get a front row) at the hut closest to the Whale's Tail - this was nice perk and the discount on an additional umbrella set-up was nice as well. Mezcal's Mexican Grill was excellent! We also ate seafood at Dewey's, LuLu's and Pompano Joe's. The Whale's Tail had excellent food for lunch at the beach. Our teens went to two birds coffee - they jogged there in the mornings, but the distance would be more than some would want to walk - about a mile from the property. We would recommend this beach location and property. We were satisfied with the experience.

Didn’t get my early entry that I paid for

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paid $100 to get in early and had to call several times and wait over an hour to answer -hone at office. Not sure if I didn’t call would we have even been in at 5:00. Was told you would credit my $100 and to date haven’t seen it on my credit card. Place was older and dirtier than expected. We did have a nice time even though the above. Please get us our $100 back

Not the best stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was laid out well but was not in great condition, not hot water in one shower, we saw cockroaches, trash left in garbage disposal so when sink ran it made the whole place smell like rotten food, tons of lightbulbs out, most dishes we pulled from the cabinets were sticky and dirty. I’ve stayed at majestic sun over 20 times and this was by far my least favorite condo. I had firiends with me who had never been to Destin before and was embarrassed that this was their first experience. Location and other resort area were wonderful. Our condo was just not up to par and actually gross.

Choose another rental at Majestic Sun

Doors, floors, etc. I wore shoes to keep my feet clean. Zero hot water in Master bath. Contact resort and they sent someone. Needed to send a plumber the next day. No one ever came and we had 1 shower the entire stay. I’ve stayed many times at Majestic Sun and enjoyed the Location, amenities and more! Just not this dated and dirty rental. Same price better condo !? Choose another condo!

Do not book 303a

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a family of 12 to make reservations at seascape resort. We booked 2 rooms and one of them unfortunately was 303a. Our room was warm due to the fact of having to keep a certain temp for medical reasons and could never get it to cool down. I called to ask if someone could come look at the unit. I was informed that THE OWNERS of 303a had placed a lock on the air and it would not go down past a certain temp. I proceeded to explain to them that we had a individual with physical and mental disabilities and that they had asthma and seizures. If the temperature in their room that they were sleeping in was above 70 degrees that there was a high risk of throwing them into seizures. I had medical documentation to back this and asked them if they could please contact someone to accommodate the individual. I was told there was nothing that could be done and that the owners refused. I explained that I was fully aware of the units and how sensitive they were if you kept doors open and stated I would sign being responsible if any damaged occurred. They said there was nothing they could do. I spent 3600.00 for a week in this unit and was heartbroken when the individual with disabilities and her mom had to leave and return home because they had spent all their vacation money on 303a and could not afford to rent somewhere else. I asked if there was another room that we could be moved to so they wouldn't forfeit their only vacation for the year and the answer was a flat no. They would not even check. We have stayed in Destin for the last 10 years and was so ashamed of how they were treated like that. All they had to do was bump the air down 2 or 3 degrees but WOULDN’T even discuss it. We spent $3600.00 and could not even adjust the air when we came in from the beach!!!

About our condo

My family and I enjoyed our stay but we had only one roll of tissue in the bathroom in we had 2 bathrooms...the lining of the bathroom curtain had mold on it ...we report both issues and the problem wasn't solve until the day we were checking out... Other than that we enjoy the condo on the beach!!

Beach condo

My family and I joyed our stay at this condo. The listing was as described. The best thing about this condo is the view. No real complaints other than the shower curtain was a bit moldy and needs to be changed, consider placing a trashcan in the bathroom or bedroom of the main bedroom, consider providing at least one complementary washing powder . We will visit again! Thx
