Our delightful 1BR-2BA condo is located on the fifth floor of the Pilot House - just steps away from the sparkling lagoon swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness room. A quick ride on the golf cart through the Resort will take you straight to the sugar white beach. The entrance to Baytowne Wharf is right out the front door, so enjoy the convenience of specialty restaurants, boutique shopping and entertainment. Enjoy relaxing on the private balcony overlooking lush resort landscaping.

With beach chic decor, our condo features stylish art, a new sleeper sofa and custom lighting. The cozy family room offers a queen sleeper sofa, an HDTV, and complimentary internet service. The kitchen features granite countertops and is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal for the group. A guest bathroom is located right off the kitchen. Our master bedroom is complete with a comfortable king bed, custom linens, an HDTV, and a private bath. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, but please bring your own beach towels.

The Resort is the premier destination on the Emerald Coast. You will enjoy sugar white beaches, 4 golf courses, 15 world class tennis courts, a full marina with water sports, catch and release fishing, swimming pools, a fitness center with full spa, and 11 miles of walking, jogging or bicycling trails. The Wharf, in the heart of the resort, offers a unique experience. The shopping, restaurants, children’s playground, arcade, zip line and seasonal entertainment are designed for the family experience. For an extra treat, don’t miss the weekly summer fireworks display. For more shopping, the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Grand Boulevard boutiques border the Resort. The newly expanded Destin Commons is only minutes away.

The unit was beautiful and the description is perfect. We loved using the golf cart to go to and from the beach. Everything worked well in the unit. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer worked well. Bed was comfortable. It is very close to the Baytown Wharf. The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Would recommend this unit.

Beautiful and very clean condo with great amenities, the best being the golf cart! The pilot house is right next to the village and we didn’t need to use our rental car during our stay. Pilot house also has a beautiful pool on the 3rd floor. Phyllis was our point of contact before our arrival and once we arrived and she was sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend! Beautiful place for a couples weekend, girls trip or family vacation. Only 1 con: if you have a hard time walking this condo would not be for you it is a very long walk from the elevator to the room.

Wonderful Place

The condo was in wonderful condition and we enjoyed being here. We stay at the Pilot House a couple times a year and have always had a wonderful experience. The golf cart was great! Also, this particular condo had some beach chairs and sand toys in the closet, which was super! I highly recommend this condo!

Wonderful Week

This location was perfect for a getaway. We could have walk everywhere and the golf cart made getting around so much fun. I would definitely recommend staying here- hopefully, we’ll be back soon!!!

Excellent stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was very clean and just as described. Excellent, convenient location for the Baytowne Wharf area and very easy access to the community pool. My husband and I stayed here for our 15 year anniversary. We normally stay in a condo with beachfront view. I decided to do something different this time. I must say this was a great experience. Long walk to 531 but it was worth it; we needed that walk. The golf cart is a MAJOR PLUS!!!! The rooms were so clean and smelt so good! Checking in was also a MAJOR PLUS. We got an email on what to do and how to get in. You don’t have to go stand at a desk to check in. Everything is ready upon arrival; just go straight to your room. It is so much going on inside the village, you don’t even have to leave. (Shopping, Dining, Entertainment) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!!!

Destin Getaway

The unit was very clean and well furnished. Plenty of towels. The only negative to this unit is the noise on the balcony. You can hear the very large air conditioning units for the hotel all day and night and they are loud.

Fantastic Stay

The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing was that we were totally unprepared for the "5 Mile Hall". If you are young and in somewhat good health, it's a nice walk. My husband however has a heart condition and he was out of breath every time. He did however get alot of great exercise. the end. Great Time

We enjoyed our time at Sandestin. The golf cart saved the trip. Could not sit on the balcony and have a conversation, noise from air conditioning unit at Effie hotel. The sofa and chairs at the bar are very uncomfortable. The bed was excellent. Kitchen had very good cookware. Would prefer a keurig coffee maker.. Phyliss was an excellent hostess.

Part Two Baytown Stay

The property was nice and comfortable. At first it was overwhelming with parking codes, door codes, entry codes, and a 157 step walk to get to the condo. But we did get used to it after a few days. Enjoyed the golf cart and had a chance to ride on the entire property to see the neighborhoods, etc. Attended a Bal Harbour pop up and WOW, that was amazing! Ate at Ovide which was very nice, and enjoyed our stay. There are many suggestions we could give, but all in all it was good.

We drove a long way and luckily didn’t get stuck in traffic so we got there early. I called to inquire about an early check in (couple of hours) and spoke to Phyllis. She was so helpful and attentive, even on a Saturday. She confirmed the condo was ready and was able to accommodate our early check in request. Everything to include the condo management was great!

Pretty much has everything you need for your stay.The bed is comfortable, the balcony furniture is newer and quite nice, but there is no view on account of all the trees.That being said, the sofa definitely needs to be replaced The golf cart came in handy for going over to the beach or just buzzing around the resort. Also nice being able to park your vehicle in the underground garage, but, if you have a full size pick up truck like us, it can be a challenge parking it in the tight spaces. And its a walk from getting off the elevator and walking the long corridor to the room.
