"Patricia est une hôtesse très accueillante. Sa maison est charmante dans un jardin au calme. Elle prépare un délicieux petit déjeuner, des gâteaux aux confitures maison ainsi que la salade de fruits en particulier les fraises qui sont excellentes. "Hello, What we liked the most at this hotel was the staff. Namely, a wonderful lady by the name Veronica. She demonstrated great competence, professionalism, and commitment to take care of us as guests. Her interpersonal skills were outstanding and her strong ability to be patient and address our concerns were fantastic. Veronica definitely made us want to come to this hotel in the future. "This was a family reunion/holiday and the property was perfect for us. We had wide range of ages from grandparents, teens and young children and everyone loved being here. There is plenty of space for everyone to do their thing but also areas to come together. Well equipped kitchen was great for cooking for lots of people. Yves was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was a big hit with the younger children and the hot tub with the teens! We would absolutely visit again."

"We had a wonderful week in La Romieu and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The location is beautiful: peaceful, full of character and surrounded by stunning countryside. La Romieu and nearby places such as Condom are well worth exploring.The property is fantastic for a large group. There were 28 of us and we made some brilliant memories here. The pool, outdoor space and setting make it a very special place.There are some areas for improvement. Our main concern was damaged tiles around the pool, which we discussed with the owner and were told would be repaired. Some sun loungers would also be a welcome addition. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that spoiled our holiday.Our main disappointment came after leaving. We received upsetting messages about cleaning and were initially told we had not paid the 280 cleaning fee. Our receipt confirmed we had, which the owner later acknowledged. We accept guests should leave a property respectfully and genuinely believed we had done so. With 28 people staying for a week, a few minor things may have been overlooked, but clearer departure instructions would have avoided much of the misunderstanding. To her credit, the owner acknowledged communication could have been clearer.Also check bedding and towel arrangements before travelling, as these cost extra.Overall, a beautiful property in a wonderful part of France. With improved communication and some maintenance, this would have been a 10/10 stay."
