"The photos do not accurately convey how small this cottage was. There is a porch maybe 4 feet deep and 20 feet wide that is unheated and also contains the kitchen. Pass through a sticky door and you're in the bedroom which has maybe 30" of space on either side of a queen bed. There's a sketchy looking ladder to a loft space that a toddler couldn't stand up in. The entire building isn't level. The bed frame was failing to the point that it felt like a sneeze in the middle of the night would break it. The water was hot, and the place was decently clean. I left after one night of my two night reservation. Would not recommend."

"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. This hotel is taking advantage of its central location. In March, location doesn't matter. No one is going to enjoy the lake, the beach, the boating, everything New Hampshire has to offer in summer months during the month of March. "

"Great, dog friendly property! The host was so sweet and had brownies and dog treats waiting, a sign welcoming us, and a dog bowl of water waiting. We loved being able to walk down the street to the rail trail to walk the dogs. They were clear about asking you to cover furniture if your dogs would be on it, which was helpful to know from the start. Our dogs are spoiled and always on the furniture so it was nice that we didn't have to spend out vacation chasing them off the couch! Well stocked kitchen and great, large backyard. "
