This popular park may be known as Mini Siam, but it is in fact a tribute to the finest and most iconic buildings you’ll find all across the world. Start off by wandering the grounds and getting a bird’s eye view over scaled-down versions of great Thai buildings, from the remarkably intricate pagodas of Wat Phra (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Arun and Wat Mahathart, to Bangkok’s Victory Tower and the Marble Hall Throne. You can even have an overview of the stunning ancient capital of Thailand by exploring the historical park of Ayutthaya.
Once you’ve seen all of the wonders of Thailand, travel further afield in just a few paces. In the Mini Europe area you can admire the graceful grandeur of the Eiffel Tower or lean against the Tower of Pisa. The 1:25 scale models throughout the park include the Statue of Liberty from New York, Tower Bridge from London, Sydney’s Opera House as well as the Arc de Triomphe from the heart of Paris.
It’s easy to spend an entire morning exploring the park, spotting the buildings you know and immediately recognise as well as the ones that may have slipped your mind. The pristine gardens are the perfect location for a quiet stroll around the beautifully refreshing water features.
As in the rest of the region, it can get very hot here in the afternoon. If you feel the heat, borrow an umbrella from reception to give you some shade. Many people choose to come here in the evening when the air is a little cooler, and the monuments are dazzlingly illuminated.
Located in the Pattaya Klang district, Mini Siam can be reached by songthaew and is open every day. Tourists will be charged higher prices than locals.
