"We came up for a college visit for the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Unfortunately we weren’t aware it was the first home football game of the season and all the hotels in the area were either booked or outrageously priced for the night. Stumbled upon The Little Village and it fit the bill perfectly. 35 minutes from Campus and in such a cute little town! Room was nice and clean. Simple amenities but just what you need for a quick night."

"We booked with the Little Village for a weekend getaway and when we arrived, we were surprised at the small size of the room and especially the size of the extremely small bathroom. The property was clean, the beds comfortable and the towels were plush. The small bar of soap did not serve well for two showers. Two bars were needed. It would have been nice to have access to an ice machine with ice bucket as well as a listing of local restaurants."

"We found the Hornet Lodge met our needs for a visit to my hometown of Shullsburg WI. We appreciate that it accepts dogs. It was a comfortable place generally. The apartment lacked some critical items to warrant a completely positive review. The kitchen was very inadequate. The refrigerator needs repair/replacing. "The place is so beautiful and unique. The location was perfect for what we had planned. We spent a good amount of time at this location. The only complaints I have was the heat was not working. There were some minor things broken when we arrived. A drawer in the kitchen and one at the coffee bar buffet."
