We had an incredible stay that was both fun and full of peaceful relaxation. All pictures of the rental were as shown in the listing. We had a small issue with the hot tub upon arrival which was taken care of right away. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and would certainly return in the future.
Loved the many fun entertainment options - creek, hot tub, fire pit and porch views

Nice location
Everything was great as far as the location and views from the cabin. The loopy lupine cabin was very nice with the exception of a couple things. There was a kitchen cabinet broken and the outdoor firepit area on the back patio could’ve been blown off. The creek was a nice walk down from the cabin. Lots of deer in the area.

Awesome home
We stayed 6 nights and everything was awesome. The house itself was beautiful and we had everything we needed from bedding to supplies for cooking. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed just sitting listening to the sounds of nature. The fire pit and the hot tub was a huge bonus. Everything was very clean and organized. Everything we did was just a short distance away. If you have the chance to book this beautiful home, do it!

Hidden Gem
The home was well stocked with all kitchen utensils, seasoning, coffee and more. You have everything you need to cook with.. The cabin is spacious and the outside is a whole vibe for the family.. You can enjoy the balconies with the fireplace or the pit.. My kids enjoyed standing in the creek and looking at the rocks.. The wood was so well stocked for the fire pit. She responded to anything I had questions about in a timely manner.. Hoping to return again

Wonderful creekside escape
We had a great stay-it felt remote and the creek was an added bonus (water shoes were a must to be able to walk around in it bc its rocky bottomed). We had a lot of rain while there so the water was deep enough for my kids to tube down the creek. They went back and forth and had a blast. It is a little bit of a hike down to the creek. Lots of steps and would have been difficult for elderly just a heads up. The cabin was comfortable and the master shower had a rain shower head. Loved it! Beds were super comfortable. Beautiful view. Would definately stay again. All tv’s had roku. Kitchen was well stocked. It was very clean. They stocked it with firewood (which we didnt use bc of all the rain) but that was very kind of them to provide that for us.
Pictures are good representation. Everything was in working order -one cabinet broke as soon as we opened it for trash cans but that stuff happens on rentals. Pretty far out from town and local grocery is not great so I’m glad we brought majority of our food. Views are beautiful -bed on main floor is small and mattress not comfortable. King bed upstairs is very comfy and beautiful room! Twin bunk bed room and basement is very cold -have to turn heat way up to get that room heated but had a space heater. Game room is awesome and hot tub and fire pits were great! The only real downside is the construction going on -pounding every morning by 8 am even on thanksgiving day but owners can’t help that. We are from Ohio and wanted to try something other than hocking hills but for the price we will prob stick with hocking hills next time as it is only 1 1/2 hours from us and has luxury homes in same price range. We went in town on a Wednesday which was a big mistake as everything is closed on Wednesdays as the train doesn’t run that day. We did the train ride -it was cute but 2 hour ride was plenty. Home is decorated well and does have everything you need. Owners are kind enough to stock wood for the fire pits and the hot tub was heated perfectly. Lots of battery operated candles that would create a beautiful ambience but bring batteries as they are either without or batteries are dead. Electric fireplace in basement is great when watching tv down there. Need comfy couches for tv area

Wonderful family mountain property
Spacious cabin with all the amenities. Great for kids and parents and grandparents. Although located deep in the mountains it is a 15 minute drive to town for groceries or restaurants.
Beautiful house and relaxing ambiance. We had two small children and they loved it, especially walking by the creek. The host was also very accessible w any questions. Recommended!

Amazing place! Fun for the whole family.
We loved this place! Outstanding home. Great location. The creek out back was a huge hit with our kids. We played there for hours. Swing, hammock, it's got everything you need and more. Hot tub was great too. All around a winner.
The property was amazing! It looks just like the pictures. Everything was clean, and looked new. The owner was very responsive to a minor issue. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, while the children enjoyed the hot tub. We took a walk down to the creek, which was an adventure for the kids. I highly recommend this property.
This cabin was the perfect place to get away from city life to relax and unwind. The owners were immediately available through text with any questions or concerns and very kind and polite. The cabin itself is exactly as described. Location is perfect to be close enough to a small town to get groceries, dinner, etc., yet far away enough to be in the woods surrounded by nature. We saw deer every evening just hanging out in the woods alongside the cabin. Great place and highly recommend!
Owners of this cabin have put a lot of effort into the guest experience. Lot's of little extras left within the cabin solely with the guest in mind. Great location and couldn't ask for more privacy! Beautiful view and the creek is shallow enough for the kids to get out and play in. We had a great time & definitely recommend!
This house was perfect for my family to stay while visiting extended family in the area. The house was clean and full of hidden adventures - games, hot tub and surrounded by beautiful nature. Location was ideal given proximity to Blue Ridge, McCaysville, etc. The owners were welcoming and responsive. We hope to return some day soon!
Property has everything you could want for a mountain stay. Easy access, gated, private, well marked trails. Owners have thought of everything. Next to the creek you find a well made swing, second fire pit and pavilion area are wonderful, a hammock next to the house and another right next to the creek.. incredible. I had small grandchildren with me, the multiple decks with extra wide stairs with gates were just what we needed. The out door pit with lots of seating making s’mores and playing corn hole at night were just a few of our wonderful memories. The out door fireplace under the porch was another amazing feature. Every room was decorated beautifully. Kitchen well stocked. Tons of games. I just can’t say enough good things about this property and cabin. The owners were also wonderful as they checked to make certain our stay was exceptional. So worth the money!!! The view from the third deck is also unique as it has a wonderful private view w coffee maker, sitting area w lighting and recessed enough to enjoy it all while staying dry even if it’s raining. I am a frequent traveler and this cabin exceeds even the highest expectations.
The lodge was cozy and quaint! Great WiFi signal, good water pressure, new and modern. You can tell a lot of detail went into the construction of the cabin (both a woman's touch and a man's touch!) The surrounding area was just breathtaking with lots of wildlife and nature to enjoy! There is a grocery store just down the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. The shopping in Blue Ridge was so much fun. Lots of water activities for any age. We went white water rafting and had a blast! Also, there is tubing down the river and kayaking. There is plenty to do around the lodge if you do not want to go in to town. My only suggestion would be to have a more comfortable place to sit outside to enjoy the views. The wood chairs look good but are not ideal to relax and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine and read a book. We were glad that they had plenty of wood to burn in the fire pits. They also provided hand soap, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent. Communication with the owner Neena was superb! She is very responsive to you as she texted before we arrived and answered our texts right away! We would recommend a four wheel drive or SUV for the gravel road within the gated community.
Cabin is beautiful and very clean! You will find everything you need..The kids love their time in the creek exploring around and also going on the water with the floats 🥰 the views are breathtaking and the communication with the owner was amazing during our stay.
Thanks again!!
We stayed over the New Year holiday. Our family enjoyed the peaceful location, excellent views, the hot tub and all the cabin amenities. Fire pit was a highlight for sure. Whatever hiccups came up, the owners were very responsive and took care of us. Would stay here again.
This cabin was done perfectly. The large stone outside patio with fire pit took it above and beyond excellent. My wife and I truly enjoyed the gazebo and fire pit down by the river. What’s a great second location to hang out and have fun. Cabin was in excellent condition and very clean.

Beautiful location, great cabin!
Cabin was wonderful! We loved the property and everything was in great condition. Would absolutely recommend this property for a peaceful getaway. The only issue with our stay was the check in process. The check in email we were sent had an incorrect door code listed. It took a few phone calls to straighten out and then once we were given the correct code, there was an alarm set inside that went off. We immediately called the contact we had been talking to multiple times with no answer because the alarm was actively and loudly going off, then got a text from said contact with an additional # to call and this contact was able to give us the alarm code. The first half an hour was extremely frustrating and felt really unorganized on the property management side but the property itself more than made up for it and we had a great trip at this cabin!

The accommodations were as described but I think it should have been disclosed they are building a house across the street. What was supposed to be a time for unwinding and getting away was ruined by nailing and slamming at 7am that went til dark . The construction Workers had a radio going for 11 hours straight . So much for relaxation .

Breathtaking!
We were looking for someplace to stay with appealing accommodations and outstanding views. We wanted a place to get back to nature. What we found here far exceeded those expectations! Every accommodation was provided including safe steps down to the creek. But the views - just breathtaking! It’s the quintessential setting for having coffee on one of the porches while enjoying the outside fireplace. If we wanted to stay inside and do family activities, we could, but we loved the unlimited activities outside. As a couple, a family or a group of friends we will be coming back for sure!

Amazing getaway
My family and I have the best time in a long time at the cabin. It is amazing, so beautiful, comfortable, homey, spacious and very clean, it has everything and more than we were looking for in a vacation home. Gorgeous views, relax natural sounds, near to many outdoor attractions.
We spend an incredible week here and definitely we will go back .
Thank you to the Sisson family for their great place.
