Reasons to Book:
Unique Location on Toccoa River with Step-In Entry Waterfront Pavillion with Outdoor TV and Fireplace Relaxing Screened Porch for Fresh Air Three Spacious King Bedrooms Minutes from Old Toccoa Farm Golf Course
If you are searching for a North Georgia cabin rental right on the river, look no further than Hooked on Toccoa. This stunning cabin will have you feeling carefree whether you are listening to the tranquil sounds of the Toccoa River from the spacious outdoor pavilion or enjoying the rustic elegance inside. Hooked on Toccoa is uniquely located with step-in entry directly into the river, giving you private access to world-class fly fishing and is also the perfect spot for tubing, kayaking or just splashing around in the refreshingly clear tailwaters of the Toccoa. With an expansive grassy waterfront, you can take your pick of places to unwind outdoors- on the sprawling screened-in porch, next to the fireplace under the pavilion or suspended right above the river on the large wooden dock. The cabin is located only minutes from the beautifully manicured Old Toccoa Farm golf course and a 10 minute drive directly into historic downtown Blue Ridge, which offers delicious dining and chic shopping options.
As you enter the newly constructed cabin with cedar slat details on the exterior you are greeted by a distinctive cobblestone foyer lit by a large, circular, two-tiered iron chandelier with 24 twinkling lights. You will be amazed by the wide-open floor plan on the main level with soaring ceilings and warm and inviting areas to rest and relax. Multiple windows allow the natural light to shine down upon you whether you are enjoying the stone gas fireplace, inviting couch, loveseat and TV in the living area or preparing and eating a delicious meal in the adjacent kitchen and dining area. The oversized refrigerator and freezer and double oven make it easy to cook for a crowd and the expansive granite counter tops and island have plenty of room for preparing and serving your culinary delights.
The outdoor living areas at Hooked on Toccoa take full advantage of the riverfront, just steps from the back door. French doors off the main living area open to an enormous screened-in porch with a dining table on one side and a cozy sitting area with flat-screen TV on the other. Step outside the porch and you can cross over a gently curved walkway directly down to the gently sloped riverbank or gather under the covered pavilion with wood-burning stone fireplace, Adirondack chairs, gas grill and picnic table for dining al fresco. The pavilion leads to a large wooden deck perched above the river, ideal for fishing for award-winning trout.
When it is time to retire, the three inviting bedrooms on the main level offer high ceilings, a king bed, second king bed or two twin beds for slumbering and two full bathrooms, one with a shower-tub combo and double vanity and the other with a walk-in shower with river stone details. The grand staircase has handmade Mountain Laurel railings and hand-hewn steps leading to the upper level where you will find a large master suite and generous loft area. A comfy reading nook flanks the entry to the master suite, which has a large sitting area with a loveseat and TV and a king-sized heirloom log bed with leather and suede bedding that beckons you to curl up and rest. Slide aside the groove-patterned farm door hanging from an adjacent wall and you will discover the custom en suite bathroom with a large walk-in closet, double wooden vanity and big walk-in stone shower with adjacent tub for soaking your cares away. The loft offers several spots to take in the view of the river including a queen pullout sofa to accommodate all of your guests.
With a beautifully constructed and furnished interior and a one-of-a-kind riverfront experience outdoors, you will without a doubt become Hooked on Toccoa and will long to return!

The cabin was the perfect choice for our Friendsgiving gathering. The spacious and clean rooms, along with the breathtaking riverfront view and ambiance, perfectly matched our expectations. The outdoor fireplace and patio added to the charm of the place. I particularly appreciated the special touch of the Christmas tree. We were thoroughly delighted and happy with our experience. I look forward to the opportunity to visit again.
This cabin is in a great area if you are a quiet group looking to get away. Our group consisted of 6 guys on a bachelor trip and it fit us all comfortably. The Toccoa River was amazing to be next to and the property felt very homey. We spent the vast majority of our time next to the river or in the screened porch.
Perfect place to just get away- sit by the river or even watch the scenic train go by. Also downtown Blue Ridge is just a few miles away. We will definitely stay here again!
We chose this location for an extremely small wedding ceremony with only our closest friends as company.
Hooked on Toccoa did not disappoint in providing an unforgettable experience for us and all of our closest friends through our stay.
Beautiful location, clean and well maintained appliances, and perfectly located for any Blue Ridge day adventures you could hope for.
We hope to visit again!
The cabin is beautiful! Perfectly placed on the river, we spent most of our time outside. Spacious kitchen and floorplan is great for multiple families. We had a short drive to blue ridge for an afternoon of shopping and went kayaking nearby.
This was a bachelorette trip getaway with 9 of us girls and we truly had an incredible weekend. Cannot stress enough how beautiful this cabin is. The back screened porch was amazing to have too. That was our game spot each night. We loved spending time on the river patio drinking coffee, catching up and doing some fishing. One girl in our group caught a beautiful rainbow trout on our last morning! We went horseback riding, did some shopping in downtown Blue Ridge and went to an awesome winery. (Living Water Winery is gorgeous!) We also enjoyed our morning walk/runs down the gravel road. The property is in a stunning location and we would all absolutely go back again. Oh, and a dinner at Old Toccoa Farms just across the main road was also a big hit!
I went with several friends for a batchelor weekend. We had a great time. The place was well kept and convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. We enjoyed being able to fish as well.
Fabulous! We booked this cabin for our daughter’s 11th bday because she loves to fish. Although it is a little chilly for fishing, all 4 of us enjoyed the fireplace, shopping & great food! The cabin was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in!
This house was an amazing experience for us! Right on the River, we were able to go tubing on our own terms whenever we wanted. It was big enough for you our big family and so close to everything. We went hiking, horseback riding, tubing, went into town and just played at the house with the kids. I would definitely come back to this beautiful location!
This property is right on the river with a nice deck. The covered part of the deck has a wonderful stone fireplace with rocking chairs and picnic table with a gas grill. The home is beautiful with a large screen porch. The porch has a sitting area and dinner table. Everything was labeled with directions. I would love to return when our world is healthier!
First, the good about our stay. Great accommodations for 4 directly on Toccoa River with ample outdoor seating on the river. Proximity to Blue Ridge is great, easy to find and minimal gravel road to navigate.
Pavillion adjacent to the deck with ample seating surrounding an outdoor stone fireplace must be an ideal spot to relax in spring, summer and fall, but weather was uncooperative during our last day.
Well-appointed kitchen with commercial sized refrigerator was ideal for cooking and spacious enough for several "chefs" plying their trade without feeling cramped.
Bedrooms were quite comfortable and the sitting area upstairs was a great spot for settling in with a good book or checking emails. We would like to try this property again in the spring or summer.
Now the bad. I had initially requested reservations for 3 nights but were promptly advised via VRBO portal that a 4-nite minimum was required, so I moved on to other properties.
My daughter was very interested in this property and had given me the ok to book it for the 4 nights if still available.
Unfortunately, when I booked the reservation, I inadvertently left the original 3 nights on the request and VRBO accepted it at a nightly rate higher than the 4-night rate! I contacted the agent and was told that the 4th night could be booked with a minimal discount, but upon further review, was well above what they normally charge for this property.
As we moved closer to our arrival date, I noticed that the Thursday night was still open and asked again if the owners would be open to renting at a discounted rate and never received a reply. Ultimately, we ended up spending more for the 3 nights than we would have for 4.
My daughter and son-in-law are rental hosts and would have been more than accommodating to a 5-star guest if their property was open, but apparently this host was inflexible and figured they were getting maximum $'s out of the rental for the 3 nights, so why would they give their "guest" a reasonable rate for that additional night.
That said, we did indeed have a great time during Super Bowl/Olympics weekend and would highly recommend this property for good times with family and friends.
This was an awesome property, it was very clean, well managed, easy check in and out process. Beautiful view of the river, very quiet and close enough to downtown to get everything you need. We loved it and will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing this property.
