very easy to find the hotel and parking space; good breakfast as well; slightly confusing when walking in the corridor, as it is a huge building with long corridors, it'll be helpful if there're more signs/direction board along the way. staffs are all very friendly too

Room was lovely check in was easy, you do need to pay for parking but was £8 for 24 hours and reception can help. The only bit of information we didn't get was where breakfast was but once we found it, was excellent, thank you

End of a Era
hotel staff are good but we were given the wrong room and had to pack up and move to the booked one . When i booked in june parking was free only to find out it had been changed without telling me to £8.00 a night which then increases your costs (should be added to room cost ) Coffee machines at breakfast are good as is cooked breakfast Hotel lovely and clean. Been staying there for 8 years but as Pete winkelman has got so greedy with his carpark charges this was the last time sadly !

Hotel lovely - Stay clear of the food
The hotel was lovely and clean - room was a good size and the beds lovely and comfy !! I ordered a BLT for room service with triple cooked chips - the bread was stale and the chips not cooked !! Left the food in the corridor to be moved - not nice unfortunately. Just an apology at checkout but not good enough for a £23 meal !

A 1 hour queue to check in. Just 2 people on the check in desk despite huge queue and even then one disappeared because it was her break time. Also quite rude. After waiting for an hour then had to file in forms for ages then told there is an additional charge for parking. Layout of hotel is awful. Very confusing signs and room was a really long wait away. Avoid .

Needs improving, but nice hotel.
Nice hotel, nice staff just disappointed about dinning options open in the evening( hotel bar). Didn't cater for Gluten Free either in the bar. Had to go outside to eat at an alternative place, fortunately it wasn't raining. Also, charging to park my car, how else am i supposed to get to the hotel.

Lovely hotel, I like it here, I've only stayed in summer. Staying in colder months was horrendous. The room itself was warm and great. The foyer was warm. It was leaving the hotel room .. the corridor was freezing, the breakfast dining area was freezing, you needed a coat to walk around inside ! I was advised to try and not sit in a drafty area by staff, there are no open windows or doors to cause a draft. There was no heating. Breakfast was a nice selection, the poached, fried , scrambled eggs were barely warm. I didn't really enjoy it but I had to eat because of medication as I now had a cold. The veg sausages were mushy, there is nothing else protein wise if you don't eat pork. I took a selection of bits to eat back in our room. I think it would be nice to see trays and plates from room dining collected. Can't fault the room or service, I don't expect to stay away and get a cold however.
