"Fantastic hotel for family weekend away with dogs"
Great hotel with good facilities and a wood just across the road for dogs or a nice morning walk. Swimming pool and sauna lovely too. There is a children's area with building blocks and an Xbox to keep them entertained. Great hotel
Although the décor in the rooms and corridors is a bit tired, the other public areas are good. The room was quite satisfactory, although the mattress was a little firm for my wife's taste, and the shower is best described as adequate. Swimming pool and leisure facilities are fine. Location of hotel is good, and staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of good quality food ranging from the usual full English to a wide selection of continental style foods and a pancake bar. Overall this hotel is a good choice for a short stay in the centre of Milton Keynes.
Known for its grid road system, Milton Keynes isn't quite the concrete jungle it is thought to be. Visitors can try all manner of watersports at Willen Lake, and on colder days, head to the Xscape entertainment complex for some dry skiing, swimming, or climbing. Music fans can visit The National Bowl, a premier open-air venue where Take That, Bruce Springsteen, and Metallica have played.
