The house was amazing for the 13 of us (9 adults and 4 kids). There was so much space and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were a perfect amount for all of us. Definitely want to come back!

Excellent getaway

This is the second time we stayed at this wonderful house. It is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. We did have issues with power outages and encountered difficulty reaching the property manager after hours and on weekends to resolve so we adapted accordingly. We would definitely recommend this house!

My family and I stayed at the Beach House over the 4th of July weekend. Overall, the home was beautiful, spacious, and had most of what we needed. We especially enjoyed the large dining room table and the fire pit — perfect for family gatherings. Also beautiful sunsets. However, we did have a few concerns. The cleanliness of the home didn’t quite meet expectations — particularly the master bathroom on the downstairs level, which wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped, and some areas were noticeably dusty.Additionally, I reached out to the property manager in advance to clarify the layout, specifically regarding the location of the bunk beds and their proximity to the upstairs master bedroom. I was told they were not located within the bedroom itself, but that turned out to be incorrect. The bunk beds were inside the master bedroom, which posed privacy issues and meant those beds went unused — a significant inconvenience that would have impacted our decision to rent had we known ahead of time.The location is okay — right off Coastal Highway — but it can be easy to miss when driving by. While it’s not as close to the beach as we hoped, it was still a pleasant stay overall.

Some cleanliness issues (floors swept but not washed, dirty pan was left on counter, toothpaste smeared on a bathroom faucet) and minor maintenance issue (don't plug a toaster in the kitchen island!), but in the grand scheme of things, great place to stay. Large family room, large kitchen, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, modern appliances, tvs, furniture, etc. Beautiful patio and fire pit. About 10 mins to Lewes depending on traffic. I would recommend place to family & friends!

Great Home Away From Home

This property was much better than the pictures showed. The rooms were spacious and the layout was great! The floors were clean from dust and crumbs but when walkimg around, your feet/socks got dirty. Would reccomend a nice cleaning of the floors. We enjoyed a fire at night and the beautiful deck outside. The home sits on a busy road but it wasn't an issue for us. We kept the kids out back. The home is more like 20 minutes from the beach without traffic and 30+ with traffic. Didn’t bother us though. We did have to contact the rental company twice but they took care of the issues very quickly. Very responsive! Great company! Thank you for opening your home to us! We would rent this home again!

Huge house, easy drive to beaches. Needs new cleaners!

If you’re looking for a extra large house with room for everyone in your family, this one should definitely be on your list. Well decorated and cozy inside. Still keeping the modern feel. We had one issue with a piece of furniture and the property management company called us back as soon as they were in the office. Would be nice to have a 24 hour number for future tenants though. The only negative feedback I could leave is in relation to the cleaning crew. We found dirty dishes and unswept floors, dirty bathrooms. And when we were trying to leave by 10 AM, the cleaning crew showed up at 9:30 and were awkwardly in our way. If this home had a different cleaning company, I would absolutely give it five stars I strongly recommend they replace that crew. It has your typical lightbulb out here or there, broken lamp here or there but nothing unusual for any home that’s a rental. And for the reviews mentioning the traffic from coastal highway, being a sound issue. Usually at night the traffic dies down to almost nothing. It really was not an issue. Definitely put this on your list of possible rentals!

So much room and worked great for our annual friend weekend. The only thing that was weird is barn doors on the bathrooms. You could see heat and smell through the crack. Bathrooms need real doors!

Great spot for multiple families

We had a total of 5 different families stay here with room to spare! It was a quick 20 minute drive to the beach. Only downside was traveling with our own linens and the fact the house is located on a busy street but the house itself definitely makes up for this! We would highly recommend this property.

Property was perfect for Sports at the Beach tournament. Split in the middle of beach and fields. Very nice touch when arriving at home, extremely clean and modern look. If ever in the area again, would definitely check this house out again.

Nice house not too far from the beaches. Nice yard big enough for yard games. House is right along the main road. And bathroom doors have big gaps, not very private. Enjoyed the stay overall though.

Great house for big groups

This was an excellent place for my immediate family! Very Spacious and updated. I will say, that we were underwhelmed by some of the cleaning (microwave was dirty, floors had stuff all over them and some dishes were still dirty. While not an ideal location off the highway, somehow this place was very quiet inside. A very convenient location. I would recommend for big families.

House was very nice, but had a few minor issues that need addressing ( big one being the sleeper sofa was broken and could not be used). The location of the house leaves a lot to desired as it is on an extremely busy highway but it is very easy to get to Lewes and Rohoebeth.

Beautiful house, but lacking in cleanliness

The overall house is large and beautifully decorated. Our group of 3 families with kids had more than enough space and privacy. The yard was perfect for the kids to play in and the fire pit was great. Outside the noise from the cars on the highway was loud, but that's to be expected. You couldn't hear the noise from inside the house. However, we found several cleanliness issues. The floors were filthy, and we found piles of dust, broken glass, hair ties, food and various things previous guests had left behind. The beds came with pillows and comforters on the beds. These were stained and smelled unclean. We paid for the linen package and those were clean. The microwave had food splattered all inside and dishes in the cabinets were not clean. One odd thing we noticed was that when ever we used the appliances in the kitchen they would trip the circuit breaker and we had to go in the basement and reset that several times. Even if we only used the toaster. Overall, the house itself looks amazing, is large and had anything we needed, but could certainly use a good cleaning.

Great Stay With Friends

Had a great long weekend with some friends. The place is newly renovated and plenty large enough for our 4-couple outing + children. PROS: - The place is newly renovated and everything is new down to the appliances. Pinterest exploded all over this place. - Plenty of space for the large group and other spots for breakoff hangs. -The booking and check-in process were dead simple. The location is great as it's between/near many major beaches, national parks, breweries, eateries, supermarkets, and outlets. - Nice big firepit and yard. CONS: -Wish there were more photos/better description of the space in the listing. Particularly the exterior - no photos of the back deck or the awesome firepit we didn't know was there save for a random mention. - A photo of the floorplan could help with remote planning/room assignments for large groups as well as the sizes of beds the place has. We didn't know what bed sizes the space had until we booked and with no linens supplied it makes planning tough. -While the location was convenient for a lot of places, the actual house is on a highway and there is plenty of noise from the cars all day long. This is not bothersome at the back of the house or during the day, but sleeping in the front rooms at night was an issue for some from our group. Overall, our group had a great time! We'd definitely rent again.

House was big and fit us all but no one checked on cleanliness/repairs/garbage before we came!

We were suppose to receive our checkin instructions the day before our trip, we did not. we sent 2 emails late afternoon to try to obtain this inform from the Real-estate company. A few hours before our checkin we had to reach out to them again and finally got the checkin information however we were told not to use and throw out the toaster because in the past it caused a problem. We thought this was an odd request and not sure why the property manager did not do this when/if they checked on the property.We arrived to the home. It was filthy! The floors needed to be vacuumed and mopped—from the looks, especially in the bathrooms it looked like it had not been done in several months. The beds had mattress covers on them but EVERY bed had sever stains (blood ect)! Sinks and shelves in bathrooms had toothpaste and filth. Dust and hair covered every dresser/plastic plant that was in each of the bedrooms. The head board in one room was fabric and covered in dust and stains.We called the property manager they came over and took pictures stating the house cleanliness was not up to their standards and they sent the cleaners. Very frustrated because this caused us not to be able to start our vacation for several hours after we arrived. When we returned latter that evening we realized one of the toilet seats were broken.We went to use the grill and it was so dirty it was unusable.3 Garbage cans outside were so full and not emptied, we had no place for trash. Owner or PRPTY MNG problem?

Great week at this house!

We really enjoyed our stay here as did the kids. The house is close to Lewes/Rehoboth/Milton so we were easily able to bounce around during the week. The cons list below is pretty long but they are mostly minor gripes that didn't have much bearing on our ability to enjoy the house. Pros: - Size! Huge house with lots of bedrooms and common areas. - Location - this house is right in the middle of all the places you want to visit. - Firepit - great place for hanging out. We spent several nights out here around a fire. - Yard - pretty large yard that the kids spent a lot of time playing in. - Isolated - I think I saw maybe one neighbor once all week. No complaints playing music by the fire at night. Cons: - One of the glass panes on the deck sliding door was broken when we got there. This would have been fine but we weren't given any sort of heads up (we were told it happened weeks ago) and the jagged glass was exposed for anyone to touch. The kids were the first to this door - a heads up would have been appreciated. - Proximity to the highway is unfortunate. Traffic was barely audible in the house but hanging out outside it's pretty much impossible to ignore - cars treat Rt 1 like a racetrack. - The grill had about 2 inches of gross build-up on the grill grates. Took us an hour of maintenance to get it into a condition where it could be used. No grill brush at the house so we had to make do without (I assume the previous renters rain into the same issue). - No rails on either the front deck or the back deck. And the back deck steps are shrouded in darkness at night - recommend some solar path lights to at least illuminate the steps. - The first floor windows don't have any sort of curtains or fixtures for privacy. We ended up hanging sheets on the windows. - The master bedroom was furnished but the other rooms were pretty light on furniture (such as dressers). - Ice/water in the fridge was broken. - Beds were a bit misleading. One of them was basically a mattress on the floor. Another was a mattress that you pull out from under another bed. And the two bunk beds are basically stuffed into a walk-in closet in the upstairs master. - If the firepit is a selling point, the house should have some tools to tending a fire.

Perfect for GF Getaway!

This house is beautiful and huge! Plenty of room for 7 GFs to hang out for an extended weekend! Many bedrooms (though one is actually inside another!) Plenty of the bathrooms too! The location was great - away from the traffic of the beach area but close enough for an easy commute. You do hear the highway traffic but if you are not use to absolute silence at night, it wasn't bothersome. We loved the fire pit on a cool fall night. Great spot to gather and catch up! We had one problem and the property manager responded for a quick fix! Yes, we would recommend this place for others!
