This is a historic hotel, perfectly situated on the banks of a beautiful alpine See. It is run by a young couple who are present and attentive to the requirements of running a small and prestigious hotel. All aspects of the service were friendly and personal, and you are certainly made to feel welcome here. The hotel is historic, but comfortable, with some beautiful vistas from the dining room, hotel rooms and the Seefront gardens. The lake in peaceful and pristine; amd doesn’t freeze in winter....

Great place to stay. Very funky hotel, with themed rooms that were large and airey. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The restaurants were cool too, especially with the local craft brewery in house. A quirky hotel, but loads of fun. I'd definitely stay again!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is an easy 5 minute walking distance from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. English was also not a problem at all. Breakfast was delicious, and the view from the terrace is amazing. The room itself was great, no problems at all. Overall I highly urge anyone coming to Villach to choose this hotel for their stay. It is located right on the river Drau and close to anything you require.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke English. Hotel is old and needs a bit of work and the room was small.

We loved our stay in the family room. It's very spacious, well designed and had everything you need. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. We would recommend staying there in Villach. It was a nice pitstop on our way to Venice.
