"We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful and meticulously cared for. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, as well as the firepit area in the evening. The hot breakfast was a nice perk and offered a good selection, although having a little more variety from day to day would make it even better. A special mention goes to Janice at the front desk. She was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. She was a standout and a wonderful representative of the hotel. There were a few areas that could use improvement. We were disappointed that there was no elevator or ramp to the second floor, which could be a significant concern for guests with mobility issues. The Wi-Fi was also very weak and required us to log in repeatedly rather than staying connected, which was inconvenient. We loved the firepit, but unfortunately the chairs were very low and uncomfortable. It was topic of discussion amongst guests. Adding cushions or replacing them with more comfortable seating would make area more enjoyable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The cleanliness, beautiful grounds, amenities, and especially the friendly staff made for a nice experience. With some improvements to accessibility, Wi-Fi, breakfast variety, and firepit seating, this hotel could make an already enjoyable stay even better * 5*"

"Beautiful room with balcony overlooking Lake George. The computer system was being changed over to a new one, so there were some issues at check in. For example, another couple was assigned to our room! After giving them a new room, our key did not work. Marriott was able to resolve the issue and comped us a free breakfast. We plan on returning again."

"The cottage is fantastic. Authentic Adirondack charm, sweet kitchen, very comfy living room couches and chairs, back porch was so cool to eat on and the sexy for hanging out at night. Close enough to walk to town but super quiet. Our host made sure everything was in place for our stay to be enjoyable. The kitchen had everything you would need to make nice meals. We would love to return."
