"We were looking for a bit more of a fall getaway spot while visiting our son at UMASS. This b&b is a 40 minute drive away but it’s a beautiful drive. It’s also very close to the boarder of vermont and new hampshire. Lots of great hiking near by. Great bbQ nearby in millers falls. Joan & Steve were very nice hosts. Their sweet dog Lucy was the cherry on top of our stay. We stayed in the deerfield suite. In this suite we had our own private bathroom. Beds, pillows and linens were all very comfy. A big soaking tub was a nice plus too. Breakfast was freshly made. Lovely baked scones with eggs, potatoes, and bacon our first morning and then banana bread french toast the second morning were fabulous! "

"Beautiful Inn with modern well appointed room. Breakfast was lovely. We were on the bottom floor and there was a bit of noise from the upstairs. Also the Inn is on a busy road so there was noise from traffic in the morning however they did provide free ear plugs. The location was convenient to everything."

"This hotel is very comfortable and clean! The staff was quite welcoming and patient, both the night and morning staff. We liked the breakfast available to us and found that the hotel was quite close to a shopping area with several dining options! We will stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. "

"This is a quintessential New England Inn that is in a darling town. Super quiet, great views, and the management was super helpful. I was able to do my laundry for free while there overnight. Breakfast was good with local pasties and fruit. My only complaint was there were no protein options available. Overall, this was our favorite place we stayed on our 10 day New England trip. I would highly recommend a visit to The Old Mill Inn and community. "
