We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The location was perfect—on the grounds of Central State Hospital, which was the purpose of our visit. The property was spacious, clean, well stocked, convenient to the campus, and the property owner was quick in his responses every time I reached out to him. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed out stay. The house and the grounds are very interesting. About 10 minutes from downtown Milledgeville. House was comfortable and clean. Interesting history.
If you like history, relaxation, quietness and serenity, this is the place to be at. Unique historic area. Spacious with everything that you need for small or large groups.
This home was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Well-appointed and equipped home and kitchen. I enjoyed the added historic information about the area.
Myself and another travel nurse were looking for a nice quiet place to rent while on assignment in Milledgeville and this property was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood. The history surrounding us was definitely an added bonus. The property owner was amazing and very responsive. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely try to stay here again!
My daughter and I wanted to stay close to Central State Hospital (which was our main focus) and town. This clean and cozy cottage was perfect for our trip. It is not a new modern home, but it’s original charm was kept in tact. As we did not want to stay in a typical hotel room, this home had plenty of room. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. The tv had a wide variety of streaming channels and worked great. The beds were very comfortable also. We would stay here again if in the area.
Felt like stepping into a past time zone for my brain and soul but totally comfortable and felt like home for my body! The large screened in porch is such an added bonus to the pleasure of sitting and relaxing! Every bed is extremely comfortable!

It’s just ok
Property is pretty out dated. Well
Water which has a funny smell of sulfur in shower and sink. Also, the house is located in a pretty isolated area next to an abandoned insane asylum. Pretty creepy. Would be good for Halloween maybe
