The only downfall to our stay was the early morning delivery of food etc with the lorries outside our room. but this would not stop me from staying here again but I would request a different location of room .

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. We booked the room overlooking the Cathedral which was stunning. The room was really large and immaculately designed. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The walk was no more than 10 minutes to the centre.
We were so impressed with this hotel and Durham we would definitely come back.

"Room was luxurious and location excellent - peaceful but accessible from main road through village. Plenty of parking as the 2 rooms are behind the village cafe which has lots of parking space. Because they're round the back it's peaceful and there's a nice garden area with seating to enjoy in fine ..."
