"We enjoyed our stay at the Lakefront Home on George’s Pond. We especially enjoyed kayaking around the lake with the provided kayaks. The Eagle and Loons let us get very close in the kayaks. My husband spent many successful hours fishing in the lake both off the dock and from the kayak. The beds were very comfortable, place very clean, and great double shower heads in the upstairs bathroom. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We found a new favorite restaurant in Bass Harbor called Seafood...

"If you are looking for a place with the fanciest furnishings, and most up to date fixtures, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, inviting well lived and loved home, this is it. It has a great location, may be dated, but is completely functional. Only problem we had was starving the hot water system while taking showers and washing clothes. Other than that, it was awesome! "Five stars for this budget-friendly motel in an ideal location in busy Bar Harbor! We stayed four nights while cycling through Acadia National Park. It was a short ride to the park and an even shorter walk to the bars and restaurants in BH. Natalle and Susie in the office were wonderful and made sure that there was always hot coffee available. Our rooms were spotless. "
