The hotel itself was in a great location, is well kept and the room was faultless which makes me sad to leave a negative review.
But the staff on the front desk just got more rude and treated us like children bearing in mind that we stayed here only ONE night. After a decent check in, things were going okay.
But things started seeming off as we watched the man at the front desk walk to the door and start weirdly joking to a group of confused girls outside that he doesn’t like polish people.
As we then went to leave in the day we got whistled at to give our keys to the front desk before leaving which wasn’t explained to us beforehand.
The lady at the front desk in the morning for our checkout was actually incredibly friendly towards us and helped store our luggage, although there did seem to be an altercation between her and the couple infront of us wanting to do the same.
Upon return to collect our stored luggage, we simply walked past reception into another open space where we knew our luggage was kept. And after simply walking a few meters past reception we were literally shouted at by the man at the desk. He then angrily ranted at us for the next 5 minutes telling us that it was his ‘house’ and we had to show respect, even though we had paid and were guests of the hotel.
We’ve traveled for the last 3 weeks to 10 countries and not one had this problem or has been as angry or as rude to us as the man at the desk here who ruined our experience of Milan!
