The bed was large and comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. Continental breakfast was served in the apartment on a daily basis. Didn’t use the pool facility so can’t really comment on that. "From the beginning all the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We show up early to leave our luggage but they cleaned our room right away and let us check-in. Only a few restaurants and a small supermarket in the immediate vicinity. We hired a car for 2 days to visit the rest of the Island. Great base to explore south Pelion, and relax.
"It's worth staying here just for the view. Happily there's more reasons than that though. We spent 3 nights at Lagou Raxi and we all loved it, including my teens. The views from the hotel are spectacular whether you are on your room balcony, eating a meal on the porch or relaxing at the pool. The hotel is like a little oasis. It's 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes walk to a great little town square with a several taverna's. But, perched up on the hill it's so much quieter, calmer and cooler than the beachside spots. The breakfasts were great with tons of choices (and it's included) and the staff are really friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong with this place."
